Feral Brewing Co. (WA/Australia) – Hop Hog American IPA [5.8%] 


‘Hop Hog is an American style India Pale Ale. We add a heavy dose of American Hops during both the boil and late in the fermenting stage to give Hop Hog a strong pine needle and citrus aroma, followed by an aggressive bitterness and a dry finish.’ 


– Hops: AmarilloCascade (US)Centennial and Magnum (US)

– Malts: Australian Ale Malt, Weyermann Munich and CaraMunich/Vienna*.

[ ABV: 5.8% IBU: 48 OG: 1.059 EBC: 14.1* ] 

– Available: Year Round, Tap, 11.2oz/330ml Bottle, 4 Pack. 


 Taste: Fresh Citrus, Grapefruit, Mandarin and Pine Needles. Clean on the Palate, with hints of Mango, Passionfruit, Peach, and Grass in the Finish.

Aroma: Pine Needles, Mango, Peach, Lychee, Lemon Grass, and Tangerine.

 Look: Clean Golden Orange.

Overall: Balanced, Clean, and Refreshing. Floral Boquet, Tropical Fruits, Citrus Zest, and Grapefruit linger on the Palate, with hints of Caramelized Brown Sugar, Peach, Mango, and fresh Bread. Strong Citrus, Pine, and Fresh Cut Grass, followed by more subtle Passion Fruit and Zesty Lemon in the Finish.
