‘Gramarye is the practice of learning magic. For thousands of years, people have used a grimoire (book of magic) to cast spells and summon spirits. Of course, magic fell out of favor over the centuries, the same as brewing with rye. Interest in magic seems to be on the upswing these days and so is the interest in brewing with rye. A coincidence? This is our take on session pale ale made with a dose of rye malt to give it that luscious feel and snappy finish. We think it is magical.’

– Hops: Goldings (US), Fuggle (US), Cascade (US) and Amarillo*.

– Malts: 2-Row Pale, Rye Malt, Victory, CaraMunich and Honey Malts*.

Available: Year Round, Tap, 22oz/650ml Can, 22oz/650ml Bottle.

Taste: Spicy and Dry, a smooth sharp Citrus and Floral Bitterness with hints of Pineapple, Grapefruit, Finger Limes, Pear, Water-Crackers, and Peach. 

Aroma: Slight Citrus and Herb, slightly Floral with hints of Pear, Peaches, and Sourdough.

Look: Bright Golden Copper.

Overall: Exceptionally balanced, Crisp, Dry and Refreshing. Sessionable, whilst maintaining a Solid Malt Base, and a Herbaceous, Floral, and Fruity Hop presence. Moderately Bitter, with a mild Carbonation that slowly gives way to the Dry, Sharp, Spice of Rye.
