– Mosaic ( HBC 369 ) is an Aroma Variety of Hop, Developed by the Hop Breeding Company. LCC, and Released in 2012. Often referred to as ‘Super Citra’ because of its complex Mango, Lemon, Citrus, Pine Needle, Earthen and Stone Fruit qualities. Mosaic is the daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14 cv.) and a Nugget’ derived Male Variety of Hop. With an Alpha Acid content of 11-14%, Mosaic provides a Floral-Citrus, Tropical Fruit, and Melon-like Aroma. With Mango, Passion Fruit, Grapefruit, Pine Needles, Lychee, Lemon, Lime and Pineapple on the Palate. Along with a Moderate Bittering potential, and a Deliciously Fruity Aroma, Mosaic’ displays all the right qualities needed in crafting American-Style Pale Ales and big West Coast IPA’s, and has quickly become a favourite in the Craft Brewing world. Developed and first Released by HBC. LCC, Oregon, United States, now grown Internationally.
