– HBC 342 is an Experimental High Alpha Aroma Variety of Hop, renowned for her pleasant Aroma. HBC 342 shows Floral Citrus, Grapefruit, Mango, Passion Fruit and Tropical Melon characteristics as well as a moderate Bittering potential, with a Watermelon and Grapefruit-like Aroma. HBC 342 is one to look out for in the near future, finding use in IPA’s, American Pale Ales, Hoppy Lagers and New World Pilsners. First Commercially Released by the Hop Breeding Company, Yakima Valley, Washington State in 2011.
