– Delta ( Hopsteiner 04188 ) is an Aroma Variety of Hop, developed by the Hopsteiner Breeding Program and commercially released in 2009. Delta is a cross between Fuggle and a male variety derived from Cascade (USDA-ARA) and shows strong similarities to Fuggle and Willamette. Delta brings forth Spicy-Pear, Grass, and Herbaceous notes to the Palate, with soft Citrus, Passion Fruit and even Watermelon in the Aroma. Commonly used in English Styles, Pale Ales and even as a Base Bittering Hop in Porters and Black Ales. Developed by Hopsteiner in Portland, Oregon, United States.
