– Tettnanger is a Dual Purpose Hop, part of the Noble Family originating from the town of Tettnang, Southern Germany. Renowned for it’s fine Aroma, German grown Tettnanger maintains pleasant Spice, Herbal and Grass like Aroma qualities not found in the US grown variety. With a mild Alpha Acid content of 3.5-5%, Tettnanger holds it’s own when used for Bittering and or Aroma qualities. The original Noble Hop used in German style Pilsners, Lagers and Wheat Beers. Traditionally grown in the Tettnang region of Germany, and now commercially grown in Australia, America, England and New Zealand.
