– Sladek is an Aroma Variety of Hop, developed in the Czech Republic as a cross between Northern Brewer and Saaz. Sladek possesses strong characteristics of Saaz, imparting Herbal, Grass, Raisin and Lemon-like flavours in the Aroma, however displaying more distinct Citrus, Peach and Apricot on the Palate. With a moderate Alpha Acid Content of 5 – 8.5%, Sladek can be used to enhance the Grassy, Raisin, Melon and Citrus-like qualities in Lagers, Pilsners and Pale Ales alike. First released in the Czech Republic, 1994. Commercially Grown in the United States, Australia, England and New Zealand.
