– Enigma is an Aroma Variety of Hop, although Enigma can be used for Bittering purposes depending on her use in Brewing. Enigma is the newest addition to HPA Farms line up, developed in 2013 at the Derwent Valley Hop Farms and first Commercially released in 2015. The true characteristics of Enigma are still indecisive, sometimes imparting Floral, Grapefruit and Tropical flavours, at other times Resinous Grass, Earthen and Spicy notes. Enigma is steadily showcasing it’s full potential in Pilsners, Pale Ales and IPA’s across Australia. Boasting an Alpha Acids Ratio of 13.5-16.5% and Beta Acid Ratios of 4.8-6.4%. Developed and Commercially released by HPA Farms, Tasmania, Australia.
