– In America, ‘Boilermaker’ traditionally refers to a glass of beer, with a shot of whisk(e)y added.

– In the United Kingdom (and England), the term ‘Boilermaker’ refers to a half pint of a Draught Lager, mixed with a half pint of Brown Ale.

At Hoposphere, our monthly ‘Boiler Maker’ is a tamer version of doing shots, and necking stubbies. Instead, we choose to pair a Whisk(e)y that we find compliments a Beer and to share it with you. Cheers!
